Our clients include sophisticated boutique, regional and national firms looking to add strong associates to their dynamic Chicago offices. Attorneys in these practices draft and prosecute domestic and foreign patent applications; handle opinion work and patent clearance; and manage domestic and foreign patent portfolios. Ideal attorney candidates for this role will have:
- 1 + years of experience with patent preparation, prosecution, opinions and clearance;
- An undergraduate or advanced degree in biology, chemistry, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, molecular biology or physics;
- A strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and
- Excellent academic credentials.
All applicants should be members in good standing of the Illinois Bar and, preferably, the USPTO as well.
Anticipated base salary compensation range for these roles is $160,000 – $330,000. Competitive benefits packages provided.
